9 Months and Thanksgiving

Things are moving right along for the Townsends. Spencer turned 9 months on the 3rd and is growing like a weed! He is now 18 lbs 7 oz. ( I can't remember his height....) He is so much fun! Jon is excited because now he can "play" with him. Jon's version of play is to wrestle. :) They beat up on each other every chance they get. It's so funny to see Jon chase Spencer around the room.

Here are some of the things Spencer likes to do now:
"Say" no. (he can't say it but he sure does know how to shake his head)
Dance ( he bobs up and down when music comes on. so cute!)
Says mamama and dad-dad
Walks around with his push-car
Clap
"Say" come here (he looks at you and opens and closes his hands)
Some of these things he has been able to do for a while, but I've been bad at updating...




Thanksgiving was great for us. We went to Alabama to spend some time at Jon's brother's house. It was a really long drive, but Spencer did very well. Little did we know, his good mood would not last. The entire time we were at Ben and Lindsey's, Spencer fussed. He would cry at any little thing and he also has a slight fever. We chalked it up to teething for the first day or two, but after three days he was still not feeling well. His nose was running and he coughed quite a bit. We thought it was just a cold. When we got back home I took him to the doctor and found out he had a cold AND an ear infection. So teething+ an ear infection+ a cold= a miserable family.
Luckily the doctor put him on some antibiotics and he recovered fairly quickly.
After all is said and done, the last month has been pretty busy.
