Halloween

This year for Halloween, Spencer was the mastermind behind our costumes. He informed us that he would be Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates and that William had to to be Peter Pan, Dad had to be Captain Hook, and Mom had to be Mr Smee. Haha
We all dressed up for our wards trunk or treat and Spencer was in heaven. He kept calling Jon, "Captain Codfish" and Mom, "Mr. Smee-Mom" :) (in our family photo you can't really tell who I'm supposed to be. If I didn't have Jon near me, most people thought I was a garden gnome. Haha, oh well.)
Since William broke his toe the day before yesterday, we couldn't fit his tights on so for Halloween night he ended up going as a monkey. It was too dark to take a picture but poor little William had a hard time walking on his cast so Dad carried him on his shoulders. He laid his head on top on his Dads and held onto his candy bucket for dear life. It was adorable!
Spencer loved going door to door. At first he needed me to hold his hand, but after he saw the other kids running up to the houses, he started to go by himself.
Speaking of other kids, our neighborhood was INSANE last night. We had cars lined up waiting to get into our neighborhood. I've never seen anything like it. A friend of mine said it took her neighbor 45 minutes just to get out of our neighborhood. Crazy!!
Thankfully we started pretty early so we made it home easily. Once we got back to the house Spencer decided to help dad pass out candy. It was so sweet! He pulled up his own little chair and just hung out with Dad until most of the kids left.
All in all, we had a pretty fun Halloween. Can't wait for next year!
